FAQ

Fit

How do I find my OP1 size when ordering online?

We recommend taking ½ - 1 sizes down from your US street shoe size. If you have a particularly wide foot, consider taking your true street shoe size.

*Please note: Ballet shoe sizing varies across brands, and we cannot make a fit recommendation based on another brand's sizing. We understand that buying ballet shoes without trying them on first can be challenging. Should you need any additional guidance prior to purchase, please reach out to us at contact@orzabrand.com.

Do you offer additional widths?

At this time, OP1 comes in one standard width (medium). OP1 typically accommodates average to wider feet well. We are working towards a narrow-width offering. Stay tuned!

Will my shoes stretch at all?

OP1 is made of 100% cotton canvas which will give slightly, but not significantly.

Will my shoes soften?

OP1 is different from other ballet shoes and takes several wears to break in, soften, and mold to your feet. Once they do, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!

Why non-stretch canvas?

OP1 is made of traditional, non-stretch canvas. Extensive research of materials combined with decades-long experience as professional dancers, formed our decision to use a traditional non-stretch canvas. We find it offers the support, light resistance, and durability that we value in a ballet shoe.
